We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will be the first and last point of contact for our customers, delivering friendly and professional service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency at the checkout. As a Cashier, you will process transactions with precision, handle various payment methods responsibly, and create positive customer experiences that reflect our commitment to excellence. Your reliability, organizational skills, and collaborative spirit will be essential to supporting smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systemsHandle cash, card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrityReconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies promptlyProvide friendly, professional, and empathetic customer service to all customersAnswer customer inquiries and resolve payment-related issues with patience and problem-solving skillsMaintain a clean, organized checkout area and ensure compliance with company standardsAssist customers with product information and recommendations when neededFollow all security and cash handling procedures to protect company assetsCollaborate with team members to support store operations and optimize customer flowRemain calm and professional in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing retail roleProficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and payment processing technologyStrong numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash and calculate transactions accuratelyExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all transactionsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated customer service excellence and friendly demeanorStrong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing situationsReliable, punctual, and professional work ethic with strong integrityAbility to remain composed and efficient in fast-paced retail environmentsPreferred: Multilingual capabilitiesPreferred: Experience in retail or customer service environmentsPreferred: Knowledge of advanced payment systems and fraud prevention measures About Aramark
