We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Mount Vernon location on Broadway Street. In this role, you'll be the face of our company, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. As a Delivery Driver, you'll combine efficient route management with exceptional customer service, ensuring every delivery is handled with professionalism and care. Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within Mount Vernon and surrounding areasPlan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service while minimizing fuel consumptionMaintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructionsProvide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery point, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with empathyInspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, cleanliness, and safety compliance; report maintenance needs promptlyHandle packages and products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent conditionNavigate traffic and weather conditions safely while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocolsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedbackMaintain organized records and documentation for all deliveries completed during shiftsRepresent the company professionally and positively in all customer interactions Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's licenseMinimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standardsAccess to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial delivery purposesAbility to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and criminal background checkStrong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficientlyExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly attitudeProficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic route planningPhysical capability to safely lift, carry, and load packages (up to 50 lbs regularly)Reliable transportation and commitment to punctuality and consistent attendanceKnowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practicesAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededPreferred: Experience in delivery services, customer-facing roles, or vehicle operationPreferred: Familiarity with mobile delivery applications and digital communication tools BENEFITS
