Service Credit Union is seeking a full-time Loan Servicing Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the servicing and administration of all consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans held by Service Credit Union. This position ensures loan servicing functions are performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations, investor requirements, and credit union policies.

Compensation range: $22 - $24 per hour based on experience
Location: This position follows our Hybrid guidelines, 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

A Day in the Life:
Member Service
• Deliver exceptional service by responding to member inquiries accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner. • Resolve member concerns whenever possible during the initial point of contact. • Educate members on available credit union products, services, digital banking tools, payment options, and self-service resources. • Support member outreach initiatives designed to enhance engagement and strengthen member relationships. • Proactively assist new members with onboarding and adoption of credit union services.
Loan Servicing
• Perform all loan servicing activities accurately and efficiently while maintaining established quality and service standards. • Assist members with loan-related transactions, online banking services, external payments, and wire transfers. • Review, analyze, process, and maintain documentation related to consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans. • Ensure proper documentation retention and recordkeeping to protect the credit union's collateral and collection interests. • Maintain working knowledge of all loan products and servicing requirements. • Maintain and monitor post-closing documentation tracking for residential lending. • Complete member outreach activities related to servicing initiatives • Monitor and respond to servicing-related phone, email, Salesforce, and workflow queues. • Process lien releases, loan maintenance requests, and system maintenance transactions. • Monitor reports and exception items to ensure timely resolution. • Generate loan servicing correspondence and notices as required. • Contribute to departmental service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) supporting organizational objectives. • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum 1 years' experience in a related field desired. • Financial industry experience and customer service experience desired. • Superior member service skills and professionalism. • Experience with banking systems and technologies and their relationship to business functions, practices, and processes preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to solicit participation and input from others, including the ability to establish strong rapport and credibility with business teams. • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing. • Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power point, and various web-based applications • Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, as responsibilities required. • Ability to prioritize and organize work duties • Valid driver's license with clean driving record • Ability to travel to other work locations as required, if needed
