Job Title Logistics and Billing Analyst Department SDI Local Transportation Part Time Type Full time Role Summary To ensure transparency and accuracy of logistics and financial processes related to transportation by providing end-to-end visibility of transportation activities and their related financial settlements. The position is responsible for the proper management, validation and reporting of logistics processes, AP/AR rates, FSC, billing and cost settlement data, as well as identifying discrepancies and supporting continuous process improvement.. Key Responsibilities
• Rate & FSC Management Managing and reconciling AP/AR rates and FSC, including discrepancy handling and billing status tracking.
• Billing & Cost Settlement Supporting billing processes and settling trailer usage, penalties and other extra costs.
• Documentation & Communication Managing CMRs and billing documents, and coordinating with customers, carriers and internal departments.
• Reporting & KPI Preparing financial, logistics and KPI reports and dashboards, with focus on data accuracy and trends.
• Process Improvement Optimizing billing and logistics processes and identifying automation and efficiency opportunities.
• Logistics & Systems Supporting transportation processes, documentation and settlements through relevant internal systems.
Requirements Experience: 3 + years relevant experience (air, ocean and road transportation) Experience preferably both in billing and logistics
Other skills: Advanced MS Excel skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Good numerical and financial understanding Experience with data analysis and reporting Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate root causes Good communication and coordination skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Process-oriented mindset Business English – written and spoken Experience with ERP/TMS or other logistics systems is an advantage
