Help protect customers and the firm by ensuring deposits made through self-service channels are accurate and negotiable. Join a fast-paced, technology-driven team known for strong controls and continuous improvement. As a Transactions Specialist II in Deposit Review Operations (DRO) within Payment Services, you will review transaction images deposited through self-service platforms (e.g., ATMs and Mobile Quick Deposit) for negotiability criteria. You’ll use multiple computer applications to complete work in a high-production environment with defined quality and performance standards. This role requires comfort with detailed procedures, repetitive workflows, and strong focus on speed and accuracy. You’ll also have opportunities to cross-train with our Exceptions & Returns team after mastering core responsibilities. Job responsibilities • Review check/deposit images from self-service platforms for negotiability criteria • Apply established guidelines and decision criteria consistently and accurately • Meet targeted production and quality performance standards in a fast-paced environment • Navigate multiple computer applications to complete technology-based processing tasks • Follow detailed procedures and step-by-step instructions with high attention to detail • Identify exceptions/issues and take appropriate action based on documented criteria • Maintain accuracy while processing work in a specific, repetitive sequence • Partner closely with the Exceptions & Returns team to support end-to-end outcomes • Participate in cross-training and cross-utilization opportunities as available • Support business needs through overtime as required Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills • High School Diploma or GED • Ability to work effectively in a production environment with performance metrics • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and risk awareness • Self-motivated and dependable; able to consistently meet monthly targets • Comfort working in a repetitive, structured workflow with clear procedures • Basic knowledge of banking transactions and check handling/autonomy concepts • Computer familiarity and dexterity (keyboard/mouse, multiple applications) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to follow written instructions and make decisions using established criteria • Flexibility to work overtime as needed Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills • Proficiency with Windows operating systems • Experience with Microsoft Office tools • Prior experience in banking operations, transaction processing, or back-office functions • Experience working with quality and productivity targets in a high-volume environment
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Monday, 10am – 6:30pm in office and Saturday and Sunday 8am-4:30pm work from home Shift differential: 10%
This position may require you to work non-traditional hours and/or additional hours as business needs arise. Work schedule might be subject to change.
