About this role

As a holding company with cooperative and private ownership, URUS is a family of businesses at the heart of the dairy and beef industry – Alta Genetics, GENEX, Genetics Australia, Leachman Cattle, Jetstream, PEAK, SCCL, Trans Ova Genetics and VAS. Each organization has its unique identity, products, and services. These companies work globally to provide cutting-edge dairy and beef genetics, customized reproductive services to maximize conceptions, dairy management information to take producers to the frontline of progressive dairy farming, and an array of products and services to help bovines reach their full genetic potential. URUS has 9 brands in 17 retail countries and employs nearly 2,800 people globally.

What if your next role put you at the center of an operation that supports the future of livestock genetics across Australia? Join an established genetics and reproductive solutions business where your work directly supports producers, breeding programs, and customers across the country. This is more than a traditional warehouse role. You'll play a critical part in the accurate handling, storage, and distribution of high-value genetic materials while working closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and operational teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with inventory administration, customer support, and system-based work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in precision. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick, check, pack, label, and prepare customer orders accurately and on time. • Support the handling, storage, and dispatch of semen, bovine embryos, and other livestock genetic materials. • Coordinate freight bookings, courier runs, and dispatch activities. • Receive incoming goods and returns while maintaining accurate documentation and traceability. • Complete inventory transactions, stock movements, and inventory reconciliations. • Utilize systems such as Monday.com and Jiwa to manage orders, shipments, and inventory records. • Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, and supply chain teams to manage changing priorities and customer needs. • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment. QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, dispatch, inventory, stores, or a similar operational environment. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working at pace. • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. • Customer-service mindset with confidence communicating by phone and email. • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new business systems and processes. • Ability to perform physical warehouse duties and safely work around cryogenic storage equipment and liquid nitrogen. • Experience in agriculture, livestock, animal genetics, freight, or inventory systems is advantageous. • Forklift license, or willingness to obtain one, is preferred.
