Up to $15,000 Bonus Based on Eligibility
Works with the Radiologists and other personnel to provide diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Special Procedures and other areas within Diagnostic Imaging.
• Performs requested diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Special Procedures and General Radiology.
• Reviews each examination for technical accuracy presents completed examination to the Physician and communicates pertinent data to the persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.
• Performs all patient procedures following the guidelines as outlines by in the Hospital and Department Policy and Procedure Manual. Including but not limited to patient identification, documentation, immobilization and age specific communications and critical lab values.
• Works with all DI modalities, Departments, Staff and Physicians to optimize patient care and work flow. Assists in other areas as time permits.
• Performs examinations in an accurate and timely manner by responding to changes in the work schedule, handling interruptions, functioning as a productive technologist and completing assignments as delegated
• Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned
• Special Skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
• Minimum Requirements • Experience: One-year general radiology technologist. • Education: Completion of JRCERT approval formal program in Radiologic Technology. • Certification: Current Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) and CPR required.
• Preferred Requirements • Certification: CVRT, PICC Lines Certification. • Experience: Three years special procedures.
