We currently have permanent vacancies:
Base - Lochgelly High School
• 1 x Mobile Cleaner – 20 hours per week Monday to Friday as required 40-week term time contract. Working between 4:00pm to 8:00pm covering all schools when required from Benarty to Cowdenbeath area. Must hold a driving licence as will be required to drive a council vehicle between sites
• 1 x Mobile Cleaner – 20 hours per week Monday to Friday as required 40-week term time contract. Working between 4:00pm to 8:00pm covering all schools when required from Benarty to Cowdenbeath area.
You will earn a competitive salary of £25,604.23 pro-rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits, including:
• We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.64 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
• Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
• Pay is 4 weekly and annualised.

This work is about ensuring staff and pupils can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference.
The Person
No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Can travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work - a current Driving Licence is desirable.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
