Intro We are looking for a veterinarian with solid experience in orthopaedic surgery and the ambition to continue to grow. About us <strong>Veterinary Practice <strong>De Roeck </strong></strong>is a leading orthopaedic referral centre located in Landen (Belgium). Thanks to our many years of experience, our collaboration with more than 250 referring veterinarians, our use of specialised equipment (including a CT scanner) and our extensive expertise in hip replacements, we are a well-established name in Belgium. Quality and patient welfare are at the heart of everything we do – a commitment we live up to every day as a close-knit team. We will soon be moving to a newly built practice (also in Landen) equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Within this modern infrastructure, featuring three high-end operating rooms, we will continue to expand our referral centre. <br><br>Our practice consists of three veterinarians and three highly qualified veterinary nurses. To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a <strong>veterinarian with solid experience in orthopaedic surgery</strong> <strong>and the ambition to continue to grow</strong>. What to expect? <ul><li>You conduct<strong> orthopaedic consultations</strong> (as well as neurosurgical consultations), advise clients based on your expertise and thereby build a strong relationship of trust. </li><li><strong>Orthopaedic surgery</strong> holds few secrets for you. You are responsible for the work-up, diagnosis and surgical treatment of (complex) orthopaedic cases, such as arthroscopies, fracture repairs and joint surgery.</li><li><strong>Maintaining relationships with referring veterinarians </strong>is also crucial. You therefore help further develop strong lines of communication with fellow veterinarians throughout the wider region.</li><li>You work closely together with your fellow veterinarians and veterinary nurses. In doing so, you share the expertise you have built up and <strong>contribute to the</strong> <strong>further development of your colleagues</strong>.</li><li>We are looking for someone who <strong>can help drive the further growth of our practice</strong>. You actively contribute ideas on the structure, expansion and professionalisation of our orthopaedic care and the associated protocols.</li></ul> Do you meet our expectations? <ul><li>You hold a Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and have a passion for high-quality care and personal development. In addition, you have <strong>(in-depth) experience in orthopaedic diagnostics and surgery</strong>. Ideally, you hold a Certificate, Master’s or Diplomate qualification.</li><li>You are <strong>ambitious</strong>, a true <strong>team player</strong> and you have an <strong>open communication style</strong>.</li><li>You also attach great importance to <strong>customer friendliness and service orientation </strong>and always put (the well-being of) the client and patient first.</li><li><strong>Practical experience in secondary and/or tertiary referral veterinary medicine</strong> is a strong asset. You are motivated to further expand your knowledge and grow with us.</li><li>You speak Dutch and/or English.
