About this role
What we’re looking for Twentyfour Industries is growing fast. To keep up, we're looking for a (Junior) Financial Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting. You'll work closely with our Accounting Lead to deliver clean monthly closings and reliable bookkeeping. You'll learn a lot in a short time, and as we scale you'll grow into more responsibility. The day-to-day <ul><li>Maintain general and sub-ledger entries, and flag accounting questions for review</li><li>Process incoming and outgoing invoices (AP/AR), and carry out bank and vendor reconciliations</li><li>Support monthly, quarterly and annual closings under guidance, in line with the applicable GAAP</li><li>Help prepare individual financial statements and supporting schedules for group reporting</li><li>Keep data entry clean and processes consistent across our finance systems</li><li>Support the Accounting Lead in working with external tax advisors and auditors</li><li>Help prepare documentation for annual audits and statutory tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, trade tax)</li><li>Help shape our accounting processes as we grow</li></ul> You should apply if you <ul><li>Have completed an apprenticeship (e.g. Steuerfachangestellte/r, Bilanzbuchhalter/in) or hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation</li><li>Have solid knowledge of preparing financial statements under HGB</li><li>Have hands-on experience with AP/AR processing and bank and vendor reconciliations</li><li>Have supported monthly, quarterly and annual closings</li><li>Are detail-oriented and reliable, and comfortable working independently with guidance</li><li>Are eager to learn and enjoy a fast-paced environment</li><li>Speak German at native level (C2) and English at B2 level or higher</li></ul> Nice to haves <ul><li>Exposure to IFRS</li><li>First experience with consolidation</li><li>An interest in optimizing processes</li></ul> What we offer <ul><li>A meaningful role at a fast-growing defense-tech company that contributes to Europe's security</li><li>Close collaboration with our Accounting Lead and a clear path to more responsibility</li><li>Real influence on how our finance processes are built</li><li>Virtual shares, so you share in the company's success</li><li>An egym Wellpass membership for sports and wellness</li><li>Hybrid working from our Munich office</li></ul>
