The AP Accountant with German will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and travel & expense reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AP processes, effective organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. This position reports directly to the Accounting Team Leader and collaborates with various departments to support the company’s financial operations. Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies. Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Prepare, verify, and process payment runs on a weekly or as-needed basis. Reconcile vendor statements, research, and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP sub-ledger reconciliations. Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies and process reimbursements accordingly. Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address inquiries and resolve payment issues. Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining AP policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Conduct regular AP aging analysis, debit balances and GRNI cleansing. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, reports, and supporting schedules related to AP activities. Contribute to process improvements and help implement best practices within the AP function.
