Our team provides care for companion animals, livestock, and other large-animal patients , offering a hands-on opportunity to build skills across both clinical and field-based veterinary medicine. We’re looking for a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant who enjoys variety, is comfortable working with both small and large animals, and wants to be part of a close-knit team serving the local community. This is a hands-on mixed animal veterinary position supporting veterinarians in the hospital, on farm calls, and during after-hours emergencies. Clinical & Surgical Support Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures for small and large animals Safely handle and restrain patients for examinations, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment Assist with anesthesia, surgical procedures, and patient recovery Perform or assist with laboratory testing, radiographs, medication, vaccines, and fluid therapy Maintain accurate patient records and support daily hospital workflow Large Animal & Farm Call Support Assist with farm calls and ambulatory veterinary services Handle livestock and other large-animal patients safely and confidently Prepare equipment, medications, and supplies for off-site visits Support veterinarians with routine and emergency large-animal cases Client & Team Support Communicate professionally with clients and provide updates on patient care Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area Work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff in a fast-paced environment Schedule & On-Call Expectations Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:30 PM Sunday: Closed On-Call Rotation – Required Approximately 1 night per week or every other week Weekend on-call approximately every 6–8 weeks Includes after-hours emergency and farm calls for both small and large animals
