Assist veterinarians and technicians with examinations, treatments, and medical procedures Safely handle and restrain canine and feline patients Support patient intake, appointments, treatments, and discharge Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical spaces Assist with radiographs, laboratory testing, and other diagnostic procedures Prepare patients for surgery and treatment Provide nursing care, monitoring, and comfort for hospitalized patients Administer medications and vaccinations as directed Clean, disinfect, and maintain medical equipment and treatment areas Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation Restock supplies and help maintain an organized hospital Provide compassionate client support and basic education regarding pet care, medications, and treatment instructions Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to the medical team
