About this role
Oversight of all aspects of the injection molding process to include set-up, operation, maintenance, and repair of injection molding tools, equipment, and materials. · Verify that the machine cycle, cavitation, and set-up parameters are correct prior to start-up. · Maintain machine cleanliness and perform any minor mold, machine, and equipment repairs as needed. · Follow Franklin’s manufacturing quality system. · Work with QA department to prevent any nonconforming product. · Adhere to company safety policies as well as OSHA rules and regulations. · Perform troubleshooting and basic mechanical repairs from process monitoring and part inspections to ensure part conformity and quality. · Assist in obtaining scheduling targets and communicate possible issues and deviations appropriately.
