About this role

Full-Time: 35 hours per week This position is home-based and includes regular travel in the South Midlands / South England region. Working as part of a growing team within GBB , the role involves investigating and reconstructing road traffic collisions and producing Court-compliant reports. Investigations will typically involve: Vehicle examinations to consider damage patterns, mechanical condition and roadworthiness Downloading and analysing vehicle data Documentary evidence reviews, witness statements, claim forms etc Preparing accurate, impartial technical reports on matters of consistency of damage, magnitude of impacts, claims validation etc. As an expert witness, Court attendance may be necessary at both Civil hearings. We receive instructions from solicitors, insurance companies, manufacturers and the general public. The role will be open to individuals who either demonstrate the qualifications and ability to carry out the role with the appropriate training, or to those who already have the necessary experience to satisfy the requirements. The objective of the role is to inspect vehicles and produce impartial, accurate and comprehensive reports to assist the Court in understanding collision magnitudes, fraud concerns, liability disputes and mechanical failures. To also assist in pre-litigation investigation via the provision of advice as an expert advisor, to assist clients in early identification of concerns, cases warranting further investigation and case settlement.
