Our Values Put Patients First Empower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care Teams Operate with Integrity & Excellence Be Innovative Work As One Team The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. The RN performs assessments, develops and implements care plans, administers medications and treatments, coordinates care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and serves as a patient advocate throughout the continuum of care. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient monitoring. Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards of practice. Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions. Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize care and escalate concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Care Planning & Clinical Excellence Develop and implement individualized plans of care. Coordinate care with emergency physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments. Monitor patient progress and revise care plans based on clinical findings and patient needs. Ensure compliance with evidence-based practice standards, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory requirements. Assist with discharge planning and patient education to support successful transitions of care.
