About this role
Responsible for purchasing activities required to procure materials and supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner to support the manufacturing facility. Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services. Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency. Preparing and processing purchase orders. Maintaining records of all purchasing-related transactions. Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries to support production schedules. Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations. Work with Accounts Payable Department on resolving invoice discrepancies. Monitor market trends and conditions for products used by ASC. Perform other related duties as directed by Purchasing and Procurement Manager.
