About this role
Summary The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness throughout the manufacturing facility. This includes production areas, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other designated areas. The custodian ensures a clean and safe environment for employees by following facility protocols and safety standards. This role will be to report directly to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager and work on-site at our cultivation facility in Riverbank, Ca. • Clean and sanitize floors, walls, windows, equipment, and surfaces in production and non-production areas. • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors; operate floor cleaning equipment when necessary. • Empty trash and recycling bins regularly; transport waste to designated disposal areas. • Clean and restock restrooms and break rooms, including supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. • Perform routine cleaning of high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene standards. • Report any maintenance or safety issues (e.g., spills, leaks, damaged equipment) to supervisors promptly. • Maintain cleaning supply inventory; request supplies when stock is low. • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous or chemical waste. • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Support periodic deep-cleaning and special project assignments as needed. • Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), OSHA regulations, and company standards. • Assist on Lunch Coverage for security team. • Performs other duties as assigned.
