Role: Radiotherapy Review Radiographer
Location: London Bridge Hospital Campus, based at Private Care at Guy's, Central London
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 5:30pm, 8 hour shifts
Contract Type: Temporary role to cover maternity leave

We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiotherapy Review Radiographer to join our Cancer Services team at the London Bridge Hospital Campus, based at Private Care at Guy's.
London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK's largest private healthcare hospitals, specialising in complex and acute care. The centre provides dedicated chemotherapy and radiotherapy services and supports complex patient pathways from diagnosis through to treatment and follow-up.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner within the radiotherapy review team, providing specialist review services for patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment. You will assess and monitor patients throughout their treatment pathway; managing treatment-related side effects; providing expert advice and support, and coordinating care with consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Job description Job responsibilities
The Review Radiographer is a senior clinical leader within the radiotherapy service, responsible for overseeing the delivery, development, and strategic direction of the radiographer-led review pathway. Working at an advanced level of practice, the post holder will lead the radiotherapy team in ensuring the highest standards of patient-centred care is consistently delivered throughout the radiotherapy journey; from pre-treatment assessment through to post-treatment follow-up.This role combines expert clinical oversight with visible leadership, supporting the team in managing complex patient needs, driving service innovation, and embedding evidence-based practice. The Superintendent will act as a key liaison between radiographers, consultants, clinical nurse specialists, and the wider multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care across the pathway.In addition to their clinical responsibilities, the post holder will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the review service; identifying opportunities for improvement, leading on service development initiatives, and optimising the use of departmental resources. They will also be responsible for maintaining professional standards, fostering a psychologically safe and collaborative team culture, and supporting the ongoing education and development of staff.This is a highly influential role that requires a dynamic, forward-thinking individual with a passion for patient care, a commitment to clinical excellence, and the leadership skills to inspire and guide a high-performing team.
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Significant post-registration experience within radiotherapy and experience working at Team Lead level or above Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner and make independent clinical decisions Strong knowledge of radiotherapy toxicity management and patient support

Previous radiotherapy review experience
Qualifications Essential
BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification
