Job summary Applications are invited for a 10 PA Locum Consultant Paediatric Surgeon based at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. The specialty is currently led by Joe Curry and consists of 8 consultants, 4 SpRs, 4 Fellows and 6 ST1/2 equivalents, 2 PA's along with a clinic nurse specialist team. This post will provide general and specialist paediatric surgery on an elective and emergency basis and will be part of the team providing specialist upper GI services. The general on call will be a 1 in 7 as well as a 1 in 4 Oesophageal atresia rota with support from a senior surgeon. The post would particularly suit a candidate who has recently completed full surgical training and wants to gain sub specialist experience in complex upper GI surgery.
