Job description Job responsibilities
Assess and manage patients from NHS waiting lists lists Interpret diagnostic investigations and clinical findings Deliver high-quality care within a multidisciplinary team setting Provide clinical leadership and, where appropriate, supervision to junior colleagues Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including clear follow-up plans aligned with Trust pathways. Conduct specialist outpatient consultations and clinical examinations.
Develop and discuss appropriate treatment plans with patients.
Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures appropriate to training and competence.
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Full GMC registration with Specialist Register accreditation in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Current Licence to Practise Demonstrable experience working as an Oral & Maxillofacial Consultant within the NHS Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
