We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Practice Nurse with excellent communication and clinical skills to join our well-established, friendly and innovative practice. As a practice nurse you will play a key role in providing patient centred care, including:
Administering vaccinations, immunisations, and travel health adviceChild immunisationsProviding wound care, dressings, and other minor proceduresSupporting health promotion and lifestyle advice initiatives
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual with the following qualifications and skills:
Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registrationPrevious experience in a primary care or general practice setting is desirable but not essential as training will be providedChronic disease management ie Diabetes, Respiratory etc advantage but not essential as training will be providedStrong communication and organisational skillsA patient-focused approach and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamGood timekeeping essential
