Job summary Join our Education and Training Team and make a real difference to the development of healthcare professionals across Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a supportive and experienced team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the delivery of our Preceptorship Programme, helping newly qualified practitioners, return-to-practice staff, and other developing professionalsthrive in their careers. Working closely with colleagues, clinical teams and Higher Education Institutions, you will help identify learning opportunities, advocate for interprofessional learning across CFT and partner organisations, provide education as part of the preceptorship programme and sign post to other development opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future workforce while supporting excellence in patient care.
This is a fixed term contract (0.4 WTE). Expected duration of this post is 12 months.

Main duties of the job Working as part of the Education and Training Team, you will play a key role in the coordination, delivery and ongoing development of the Trust's Preceptorship Programme.You will support the day-to-day management and delivery of the Trust's Preceptorship Programme, including coordinating learning activities, delivering education sessions, monitoring participant progress, and working with clinical teams to ensure preceptees receive the support required to successfully transition into professional practice. You will work closely with preceptees, preceptors, practice supervisors, assessors, managers and clinical teams to help create high-quality learning experiences and support professional development. The role involves providing educational guidance and advice, facilitating learning opportunities, monitoring the quality of learning environments, and promoting best practice in supervision and assessment. You will act as an advocate for interprofessional learning, building strong relationships across the Trust and with partner education providers to ensure preceptees receive the support they need to succeed in their transition to professional practice.
