Cygnet Healthcare is looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our team working at Cygnet Toller Road.
Youll be working 40 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet.
Toller Road is a specialist residential service, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, including those with mental health or physical health needs. We can also provide specialist nursing care, with support tailored to individual needs.
We are looking for someone who is:
Driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives
Experienced for 1 year plus in a support setting working with learning disabilities and mental health
An excellent communicator and a good team player
Caring and understanding with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence
Your day-to-day:
Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
Assist with medical & welfare needs
Report on medical & welfare needs as required
S afeguard all patients
Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
