Main duties of the job As our Radiology Assistant, you will:
A chance to be a part of a dynamic radiology department, assisting with a range of radiological examinations Assist patients throughout their time within the department and preparing patients prior to their imaging Work in a variety of imaging modalities, including MRI, ultrasound and fluoroscopy Assisting the Radiographers in maintaining an efficient daily work list, workflow of patients Assist Radiologists in carrying out radiological examinations Deal with service user queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems Be responsible for stock maintenance and ordering

To succeed as a Radiology Assistant, you will have: Care certificate and/or NVQ Level 2 in a Health related subjectExperience within a Radiology department, assisting with MRI and US procedures in particular is desirableExperience in ANTT proceduresCannulation training desirableBe caring and empatheticTo be an enthusiastic person to join our team, where our purpose is to deliver seamless, high quality, safe healthcare for all

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Care certificate and/or NVQ Level 2 in a Health related subject
Experience Essential
Experience within a Radiology department, assisting with MRI and US procedures in particular is desirable Experience in ANTT procedures Cannulation training desirable
