Job summary Are you seeking a leadership role within a supportive and dynamic environment? We are recruiting a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to help lead our enthusiastic and motivated nursing team in delivering excellent care to patients on our General Medical Ward. Full-time, Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Junior Sister to join our friendly and committed team. We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic, motivated, and possess strong communication skills. Frank Deas Ward specialises in General Medicine, caring for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. As a Band 6 nurse, you will be highly motivated, organised, and clinically confident, with excellent communication and leadership abilities. You will be supported to further develop your leadership and management skills and will work closely with the Ward Manager and wider nursing team to ensure that high standards of careare consistently maintained. You will demonstrate compassion and professionalism while caring for patients who require our support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and therefore must be flexible to work weekends and night shiftsas part of the rota. In return, we offer a comprehensive programme of professional development, including study days, training courses, and postgraduate modules, for nursing staff wishing to advance their clinical knowledge and leadership skills.

The post holder will provide high quality nursing care working within a cohesive multidisciplinary team.
