Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join Suffolks new WorkWell service, delivered in partnership with Suffolk Mind, and make a difference by helping people overcome health-related barriers so they can remain in, return to, or start employment. You will build trusted relationships, understand what matters to each participant, and coordinate practical support across health, employment, skills and community services.
WorkWell is an early-intervention work and health service with a focus on prevention, which includes holistic support for their health-related barriers to employment. It will provide evidence based, low intensity work and health assessments that support individuals with their low-level occupational health needs to overcome barriers to work.

Main duties of the job Make a difference you will:
Complete holistic assessments and co-produce practical WorkWell plans with clear goals
Provide personalised coaching and low-intensity work and health support
Work with employers, with participant consent, to explore support, adjustments and sustainable return-to-work options
Connect participants with the right local services through warm handovers and joined-up support
What youll bring: Experience of coaching, advising, guiding or supporting people one to one
Excellent listening, communication and organisational skills
An empathic, inclusive and strengths-based approach
Confidence managing a caseload, maintaining records and seeking advice when needed

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Experience of providing one-to-one coaching, advice, guidance or support Experience of working with people facing health, disability, employment or wider social barriers Understanding of person-centred assessment, goal setting and behaviour change Awareness of safeguarding, confidentiality, professional boundaries and risk escalation Ability to manage a caseload and work independently with supervision
Desirable
Experience in work and health, employment support, social prescribing or community services Experience of employer liaison or workplace adjustments Knowledge of local health, employment, skills and VCFSE services
Qualifications Essential
Relevant qualification at Level 3 or equivalent experience in health, wellbeing, employment, coaching or community support Willingness to complete required WorkWell, care coordination, health coaching and mandatory training
Desirable
Coaching, employment advice, social prescribing, vocational support or health and wellbeing qualification
