Main duties of the job
Exciting new roles combining training delivery, programme design and workforce development.
You will work as part of the Learning and Development Team to:
Design and deliver bespoke training programmes tailored to organisational needs.
Deliver statutory and mandatory training across a range of clinical and non-clinical subjects.
Support the delivery of clinical training programmes that enhance skills, knowledge and competence.
Develop engaging learning materials using a variety of digital tools and technologies.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create innovative development opportunities.
Support the design and delivery of leadership, career development and workforce development programmes.
Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning experiences.
Promote a positive learning culture that encourages curiosity, growth and professional development.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The role is varied and fast paced. The post holder will identify, build, deliver and co-facilitate appropriate learning solutions to meet the skills and knowledge gaps of wide range of staff across Navigo. This will include planning and delivering resuscitation in accordance with RCUK/Qualsafe guidelines.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
To support the development and implementation of a range of educational, training and development activities across all staff groups within Navigo.
To design and deliver specialist education and training, within an agreed portfolio, to a wide range of staff across Navigo, contributing to the delivery of Navigo's People and Organisational Development Strategies.
Deliver mandatory training programmes to the workforce.

Knowledge Essential
Full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, drivers and their application to the relevant service/s area Full understanding/application of relevant professional practice/standards/audit within own professional area Ability to work with sensitive information and approach issues diplomatically Ability to work autonomously and use initiative and judgement in decision making Advanced IT skills
Desirable
Evidence of project work that has impacted on practice and demonstrates a higher level of communication/planning/change that impacts within own area of work/responsibility Demonstrate awareness of professional practice standards across other disciplines and professions.
Qualifications Essential
Professional qualification and up to date registration (e.g. Registered Nurse/MH/LD, Paramedic, Social Worker, AHP) Post graduate diploma, e.g. Certificate in Education or equivalent qualification or teaching/training/clinical experience in related work area, to demonstrate specialist level of practice together with relevant post graduate development modules Level 5 teaching qualification, Level 4 assessor qualification and level 4 IQA qualification or a willingness to study towards these, or equivalents
Experience Essential
Proven track record of delivering training to individuals/groups Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the professional area Evidence of development of professional practice skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development Evidence of promoting/supporting active user/carer involvement/participation Evidence of demonstrable post-qualification practice experience Experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
Desirable
Development of specialist/advanced level of practice skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development Leadership/management experience which has had a positive impact and created change within the service delivery/practice Professional networking locally
