HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team, fostering a positive, accountable, high-performance culture aligned with Nexans Excellence Way and continuous-improvement practices. Maximize equipment reliability and plant performance through effective preventive and corrective maintenance, rapid emergency response, and ongoing improvements to maintenance methods and plans. Ensure safe, efficient workforce execution by managing staffing, attendance, leave, labour utilization, training needs, and performance expectations. Protect operational assets and product quality through regular inspections of equipment, facilities and grounds, proactively addressing risks affecting safety, reliability, quality and efficiency. Partner across the plant to manage contractors, maintenance inventory, projects and environmental initiatives, while maintaining clear communication on priorities, performance, risks and progress. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE ? 3-5 years of manufacturing experience 10 years experience as a Millwright or Industrial Electrician or Industrial Engineer Valid Driver’s License Extensive knowledge of industrial manufacturing systems and components. Excellent communication and management skills, including the ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and levels. High integrity and role model for Nexans values and Health & Safety culture. Analytical and problem solving mindset with a hands on, pragmatic approach. Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to make decisions in a complex and evolving environment.
