In this role, you will be responsible for leading warehouse operations, developing your team and driving performance, safety and continuous improvement. How you'll make an impact Oversee daily operations, ensuring performance targets are met and corrective actions are implemented when required. Lead, coach, and develop team members through ongoing training and performance management, and foster a positive team culture. Assign tasks and monitor work completion to ensure accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency. Manage employee relations issues and support disciplinary and corrective actions where necessary. Plan, organize, and adjust staffing and scheduling to meet operational demands. Drive continuous improvement through Lean methodologies, quality management processes, and cost control initiatives. Ensure achievement of customer metrics, including quality and responsiveness. Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards. Maintain accurate operational reports and ensure adherence to process documentation. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. What you'll bring to GXO Proven experience in a similar role within a logistics environment, including leading bigger teams. Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems. Knowledge of Lean methodology is an advantage. Strong communication skills in English and Dutch, both written and verbal. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive mindset and strong ability to collaborate across teams.
