ROLE - Techno-Functional Specialist - Private Markets EXPERIENCE - 8-12 Years SERVICE LINE Consulting - WAM DOMAIN - Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Hedge Funds The Opportunity Role Summary Seeking a techno-functional professional with strong expertise in private markets operations, investment lifecycle management, and technology enablement. The role will work closely with business and technology teams to support front-to-back private markets processes, contribute to platform enhancements, improve operational efficiency, and support transformation initiatives. Your Key Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter resource for private markets business processes and supporting technology platforms. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements and transformation initiatives. Support end-to-end investment lifecycle activities, including deal onboarding, capital calls, distributions, valuations, and investor reporting. Collaborate with investment, operations, finance, and technology teams to deliver business and technology solutions. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and workflow optimization. Lead functional design discussions and support testing activities, including user acceptance testing and defect management. Support integrations between private markets platforms and downstream accounting, reporting, performance, and data management systems. Analyze operational challenges and recommend practical, scalable, technology-enabled solutions. Promote adherence to data quality, governance, and control frameworks. Support implementation and change management activities for strategic platform and operating model initiatives. Plan and coordinate workstream activities, monitor delivery progress, and manage dependencies and risks. Mentor junior team members and review deliverables to support quality and consistency. Strong understanding of Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Fund-of-Funds, or Hedge Fund operations. Experience across capital calls, distributions, cash management, valuations, commitments, investment accounting, and investor reporting. Hands-on experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, functional design, and testing. Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams in Agile or hybrid delivery environments. Ability to lead workstreams, manage priorities, and coordinate delivery across stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
