The Opportunity Veolia is seeking an experienced HR Driver – Packaged Chemicals to join our team based at Arndell Park, NSW 2148. This is a Monday-to-Friday role, with daily starts from 6:00 am. Regular overtime and weekend roster opportunities are also available. Safely securing loads and managing load distribution in accordance with load-restraint requirements and vehicle mass limits Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle. Complying with all relevant legislation, regulations, safety requirements and company policies. Delivering professional and reliable customer service to all stakeholders Maintaining an Always Safe approach in every task you undertake. What you'll need to be successful A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence. At least two years’ experience driving heavy vehicles. The ability to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance. A sound knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan road network. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. A proven commitment to safety, with a proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement. Experience in biosecurity environments is desirable. A current Dangerous Goods licence is desirable. Load-restraint competency is desirable. A willingness to learn, develop and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment. Veolia’s AlwaysSafe culture means that we care about the safety of people on our sites.
