About this role

CRO Specialist (Fulltime, 38 hours per week) We arere looking for a CRO Specialist to join our growing organization as part of the UX & CRO team. Do you want to work for the fastest-growing non-food retailer in Europe and make a weekly impact on 8 million online customers across 16 countries? Do you want to work in an environment alongside data analysts, UX researchers & designers, performance marketers, and product teams? Then join this fast-growing team at Action! Your core focus will be our webshop, where conversion rate is the key metric you'll be moving - every test, hypothesis, and optimization ultimately ties back to turning more visitors into customers. This is your daily action As a CRO Specialist, you'll be part of the UX & CRO team, working closely with cross-functional product teams. You'll work alongside product owners and UX designers to optimize the user experience and conversion. Thanks to Action's international footprint, you'll have the opportunity to work across a range of digital touchpoints, including the website, mobile app, and webshop. Together with the UX team, you'll conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand our customers. With a deeper understanding of the customer journey, you'll optimize the user experience across our websites. Alongside Product Owners, you'll own and shape the AB testing roadmap in a way that delivers the greatest value to the business. To support this, Action is building out a structured discovery & research process that uses AI to surface broad, ongoing insights into our current UX - think AI-assisted analysis of session recordings, on-site surveys, and customer feedback, consolidated into a continuously updated insight repository using tools like TheyDo and Next. As a CRO Specialist, you'll tap directly into this repository to spot patterns, validate assumptions, and build strong, well-substantiated hypotheses, rather than starting from scratch each time. Part of the role is also to help mature this process further, investigating how AI-assisted experimentation and optimization tools can strengthen how we generate hypotheses, prioritize tests, and interpret results - helping Action become a genuinely data- and AI-driven organization in CRO. This role calls for both creativity and critical thinking. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as GA4 and Medallia DXA are essential - you'll use these to monitor and analyze web performance daily, spotting friction points and performance issues early so they can feed directly into the testing roadmap. An interest in AI-assisted UX research and experimentation platforms is a strong plus. You're passionate about creating a seamless shopping and user experience, and excited about how AI can accelerate the way we discover insights, test, learn, and personalize. Daily repsonsabilities: Deliver AB and MVT tests, working daily with the UX, SEO, and CI teams and Product Development teams to continuously test and learn Own and manage the CRO testing roadmap and backlog, ensuring all test hypotheses and results are tracked and reported Develop well-formed, data-driven problem statements and hypotheses Own and drive the CRO strategy and roadmap Collaborate with user researchers to uncover key conversion barriers across the entire marketing funnel Perform daily analysis of web performance using tools such as Medallia DXA, identifying friction points and technical issues that impact conversion Tap into Action's AI-powered discovery & research repository (built using tools such as TheyDo and Next) to identify UX patterns and build well-substantiated, data-driven hypotheses Explore and help mature Action's AI-assisted experimentation capabilities - investigating how AI can support hypothesis generation, test prioritization, variation creation, and result interpretation to speed up the CRO cycle Your team Tens of millions of fans across Europe - and we keep surprising them, week after week. We're a data-driven organization working in agile teams to grow the Action brand. Within Marketing & Digital, we own the marketing and communication strategy and its execution. We're continuously building more digital visibility and interaction - from customer research to designing our award-winning leaflet in our own Action Studio, and from private labeling to webcare, the app, and social media campaigns. Our biggest challenge? One breath, one format - online and in more than 3,400 stores across 16 countries. Learning something new every day and working with great colleagues to make our popular brand even more successful - that's what makes us happy. You too? That our team reflects the diversity of our customers, including over 160 different nationalities? That 99% of our cocoa, cotton, coffee and timber are certified sustainable? And that all our stores, DC’s and offices only use energy-efficient LED lighting? Yes, that is also Action. Curious about what other initiatives we’re facilitating?
