Job Overview Senior Analyst, Packaging Design is responsible for executing the packaging graphics development process across the entire project lifecycle, often on multiple projects in various functional areas across the company. In addition to initiating, participating in, and delivering graphics projects accurately and on time, the Senior Analyst measures performance, identifies trends, solves problems, and improves the process. Job Responsibilities Own the end-to-end artwork approval workflow for new items and redesigns. Develop and maintain key graphics performance metrics and reporting. Measure on-time completion, cycle time, first-pass approval, rework, and aging. Analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement. Identify project risks, escalating when necessary. Perform detailed technical reviews of packaging artwork. Ensure accuracy against specifications, customer requirements, and design standards. Improve first-pass approval and minimize downstream errors and rework. Maintain workflows in Esko WebCenter. Ensure project setup, routing, approvals, and documentation are accurate. Identify bottlenecks, rework, and overdue actions to improve efficiency. Document deviations and coordinate timely resolution with suppliers. Manage visibility to the graphics project pipeline. Review customer and graphic designer feedback across multiple portals and systems. Track response time and open actions through closure. Identify recurring issues contributing to delays or rework. Track graphics-related errors, rework, and recurring issues. Maintain ownership and data integrity of packaging files, databases, and records. Ensure information is accurate, complete, and current. Routinely audit records and resolve data gaps. Evaluate color, spelling, dieline compliance, claims, barcodes, and other print-critical attributes. Identify and resolve technical issues before artwork release, applying working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite to assess print-readiness. Serve as a technical graphics resource during supplier and customer engagements Collaborate with vendors, customers, and cross-functional partners to execute projects to agreed timing and quality expectations. Support press approvals and evaluate output against approved standards. Communicate printing, packaging, and graphics concepts clearly, to support facilitation of decision making and alignment. Other duties as assigned by your manager Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, , and Business or in another relevant degree seeking program or a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant experience. 2 years of experience supporting and managing packaging projects. Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, or Photoshop experience, or similar. Competent in Microsoft Office or other data analytics systems. Competent in Excel to generate reports to manage data sets using formulas. General experience managing Microsoft SharePoint sites, or similar. Excellent critical thinking skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Strong business acumen to understand customer and internal priorities and be able to educate based on their priorities Ability to communicate complex concepts and issues to diverse audiences. Outstanding attentional to detail Strong teamwork approach to problem solving with the ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience. Up to 20% travel. Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Education and Experience 2-4 years of relevant experience. 1 year or more of prepress and/or packaging graphics experience. Esko Software experience (preferably WebCenter). SAP or other ERP software experience. Manufacturing company experience. Food industry experience.
