Job Overview Executes defined sourcing and procurement activities while contributing to cost optimization, supplier performance improvement, and risk mitigation initiatives. Applies data-driven analysis to support sourcing decisions and category strategies. Job Requirements Analyzing supplier performance, pricing, and spend data to identify savings and risk opportunities. Identifying cost drivers and supply risks and recommending mitigation actions. Supporting sourcing initiatives by preparing RFQs, analyzing bids, and documenting sourcing recommendations. Tracking supplier KPIs related to cost, quality, delivery, and lead time. Supporting supplier negotiations and contract administration activities. Collaborating with supply chain and operations to support continuity of supply. What your background should look like Key Responsibilities Manage and develop a portfolio of suppliers focused on performance improvement and capability growth. Analyze supplier challenges related to quality, delivery, manufacturing processes, capacity, and operational performance. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities using structured problem-solving methodologies. Coach suppliers on continuous improvement practices and sustainable performance enhancement. Support supplier qualification, capability assessments, and risk evaluations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Strategic Sourcing. Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, audits, and improvement plans. Support supplier quoting activities, commercial discussions, and negotiations. Conduct onsite supplier visits across Mexico and the United States to evaluate operations and facilitate improvement initiatives. Build strong business relationships with supplier leadership teams and key stakeholders. What Your Background Should Look Like Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environments and supplier-facing roles. Experience in supplier development, supplier quality, sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing operations. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, materials, and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of quality management systems and structured problem-solving methodologies. Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Mexico and the United States. Preferred Qualifications Aerospace industry experience. Knowledge of AS9100, PPAP, APQP, supplier development, or supplier quality processes. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, stamping, molding, or related production environments. Knowledge of supplier assessment methodologies, FMEA, Value Stream Mapping, and ERP systems such as SAP. Passion for the aerospace industry and a self-driven, continuous improvement mindset.
