Your future role An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team as the Commercial Performance Officer for the Queensland Next Generation Rollingstock (QNGR) operation. Based in Wulkuraka, QLD and reporting to the Fleet Performance and Asset Services Manager , you will primarily be responsible for the delivery of commercial and operational outcomes across the QNGR contract through the administration of additional services, contract claims, performance reporting and continuous improvement activities. In this role, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our contractual commitments are delivered while uncovering opportunities to drive commercial value. You'll coordinate General Activities (GA), Requests for Authorisation (RFA), and additional service claims, making sure work is accurately managed, reported, and recovered. Beyond the numbers, you'll build strong relationships with stakeholders, provide meaningful performance insights, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both customer satisfaction and business outcomes. We’ll look to you for: Managing General Activities (GA), Requests for Authorisation (RFA) and commercial claims to maximise cost recovery and contractual compliance. Identifying and documenting out-of-scope work opportunities and supporting commercial recovery initiatives. Preparing, tracking and validating claims, contract variations and supporting documentation. Producing accurate operational and commercial reports, dashboards and performance insights. Monitoring performance trends, risks and opportunities to support business decision-making. Collaborating with operations, engineering, planning and finance teams to deliver commercial and operational outcomes. Coordinating customer reporting, business reviews and stakeholder communications. Managing action registers and ensuring timely follow-up of key deliverables. Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes, reporting and service delivery. Supporting customer satisfaction through strong stakeholder engagement and outcome-focused performance management. All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Demonstrated ability to prepare reports, analyse information and manage competing priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Experience in a commercial, contract administration, service delivery, business support, performance reporting or similar role. Experience within rail, transport, maintenance, manufacturing, infrastructure or asset-intensive industries (Desirable).
