Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic communications and corporate social responsibility expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping Alstom’s image and fostering business growth across the country and emerging territories in East Asia. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (HR, project teams, Corporate/Sector publications), build trust with key stakeholders, and drive impactful initiatives that align with Alstom’s values and goals. You’ll specifically take care of internal and external communications strategies, but also develop CSR programs that engage employees and enhance Alstom’s social impact. We’ll look to you for: Building trust-based relationships with Communications management and Country MD to ensure the meaningful involvement of the Communications Department across projects. Developing and implementing employee engagement strategies in collaboration with HR. Managing the flow of information to employees using diverse communication tools (Intranet, publications, face-to-face meetings, events). Driving media relations, including press releases, press conferences, and social media presence. Supporting crisis communications at the country level. Organizing and managing internal and external events to enhance Alstom’s visibility and engagement. Managing branding and visual identity to align with Alstom’s corporate standards. Building CSR and employee volunteering programs and fostering relationships with NGOs. Leading a team and managing PR agencies and budgets effectively. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Educational background in PR, Marketing, or Communications. 15-18 years of experience in communications. Experience working with manufacturing or heavy engineering industries with a strong B2G (Business-to-Government) connection is highly desirable. Prior experience in journalism or at a PR/Corporate Affairs agency. Experience working in matrix organizations is a plus. Strong understanding of internal and external communication strategies. Proficiency in managing cross-functional teams and budgets.
