As a co-op participant at Endress+Hauser, you’ll support the Industrial Engineering team by contributing to process improvement efforts that increase efficiency, productivity, and operational effectiveness during a 14–16 week program. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real business needs while collaborating with experienced professionals in a global, customer-focused organization. Which tasks will you perform? Support production improvements and lean process initiatives Create and update documentation such as Work Instructions, TPM, or other technical documents Support kaizen events and cross-functional team projects Communicate with external vendors to acquire tooling quotes and prepare orders for production needs Create, implement, audit, and maintain ISO 9001 Quality process documentation. Update plant layouts by verifying equipment, workstations, storage areas, and workflow paths; incorporate changes into layout documentation to support space planning, process flow, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide hands on involvement in production and construction of necessary production tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment and systems. Additional duties as assigned What do we expect from you? You will be (required): Pursing a Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. You may have (preferred): Fulfilling a co-op requirement as part of academic coursework Ability to collaborate effectively across functions Strong networking and relationship-building skills A strong enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge and embracing fresh challenges Exhibit a proactive attitude and a readiness to take ownership Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative Demonstrates enthusiasm and self-motivation, taking pride in their work and channeling energy into achieving tasks with a strong sense of ownership Demonstrates trust, respect, and support for others, fostering teamwork and a collaborative spirit.
