As our National Lease Administration Manager, you'll work at the intersection of Property and Legal, managing a broad range of leasing and property matters across Australia and New Zealand. Extra Reasons to Join Us 🏡 Hybrid working options – 3 days week in office. 👨👩👧👦 Flexible work options – this role can be offered as 4 days per week 🚗 Free onsite parking 📚 Ongoing learning and career development opportunities 🌱 Additional leave and wellbeing initiatives 🧠 Mental health and wellbeing support programs 🛍️ Opportunity to support Australia's independent retailers and communities Your Role with Metcash • Manage the end-to-end process for property legal documentation across the national portfolio. • Draft, review and negotiate leases, licences, assignments, notices and other property-related agreements. • Partner with Property and Legal teams to prioritise and progress matters efficiently. • Provide practical guidance on property and leasing matters. • Manage legal work-in-progress to ensure timely resolution of issues. • Review and manage external legal invoices, budgets and cost tracking. • Conduct legal research and analyse relevant legislation and documentation. • Drive process improvements and develop best-practice systems and documentation. What You'll Bring • Experience in a similar property law, lease administration or legal role. • Strong understanding of property and leasing legislation. • Proven ability to draft and negotiate legal documentation. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and organisational capability. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Commercial acumen and sound problem-solving skills. • Experience with PEXA or other online property and conveyancing platforms is advantageous.
