Our operations span North America with over 28,000 employees at close to 1,600 locations in 43 US States and 2 Canadian provinces. ​ Position Overview The position will work closely with the South-Central Division HRIS Analyst and HR Leadership to facilitate the HR processes related to employee records and employment status, monitoring for legal and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) The HR Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting HR administration, employee records, HRIS data integrity, and employee-facing HR processes. Essential duties include the following: Enter, update, audit, and maintain employee data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) accurately and timely. Process, organize, and file HR-related documentation in electronic and paper records. Support employee record retention and document management procedures, including identifying and correcting data discrepancies. Communicate clearly and consistently with employees, managers, and local HR team members. Assist employees with questions related to policies, procedures, benefits, and other CRH programs. Assist with onboarding paperwork, employment documentation, and related employee lifecycle processes. Support local office HR initiatives and activities, including diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement events. Manage and analyze exit survey results and share key insights with the appropriate HR managers. Assist with administering and updating Jotform-based safety quizzes. Support HR team projects and administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 1-3 years related experience in an office setting, performing data entry tasks. Previous HR support experience is highly desirable. Work Requirements Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary. Must be 18 years in age or older. Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check Must possess a valid driver’s license Position is hybrid, must be able to be in our Austin office 2-3 days a week on a consistent basis. Report to the office dressed appropriately and ready to begin work at the designated start time. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA. Compliance with all OSHA and/or MSHA regulations. Knowledge/Skill Requirements Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work with Management High standard of ethics, integrity, and trust. Must be able to multitask and have a strong attention to details. Strong problem-solving skills preferred. Ability to work independently. Ability to perform under deadline pressure. Ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, talk and hear. Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently required to sit and use their hands. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Work Environment Standard office environment. Tempo is fast paced with deadlines. The noise level in some areas of the work environment may be moderate.
