(This position is limited until May 2028) Your area of work Eurex Clearing is one of the leading central counterparties globally, ensuring market safety and integrity while offering innovations in risk management, clearing technology, and client asset protection. We clear the broadest spectrum of products under a single framework in Europe – both listed and OTC – and accept the widest range of eligible collateral worldwide. As the central counterparty for all transactions of our clients, we mitigate counterparty risk and maximize operational efficiency. In your role as an Equity Risk Officer, you will operate risk management systems and work on some of the most critical processes within the clearinghouse. Additionally, you will monitor and manage the real-time risk situation of members for the markets cleared by Eurex Clearing and serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries regarding risk management. Your responsibilities: Operating Eurex Clearing's risk management systems for listed products Daily management of Eurex Clearing's risk positions for all cleared markets Supporting members as the first point of contact for customer inquiries Design, development and testing of risk management systems and methods Assisting in the development and implementation of strategic risk projects of the Deutsche Börse Group Communicating risk topics to senior management, IT departments, and regulatory authorities Your profile: M.Sc.in economics, finance, mathematics, physics, financial engineering, computer science or any other comparable field Knowledge of financial markets and products (bonds, equities, futures, options), as well as clearing activities of Eurex Clearing AG Relevant work experience, preferably in risk management function of a financial institution Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Efficient team player with a high result orientation and organizational independence Affinity for data, analytics, automation, and emerging AI technologies would be an asset. Commitment and willingness to work shifts, including availability on holidays Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; additional German skills are an advantage
