Your Role As Plant Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the manufacturing performance of a high-impact specialty electronics materials facility, driving safety, quality, and operational excellence across designated production areas. In this role, you will own the end-to-end planning and execution of production activities, translating customer requirements and business priorities into efficient, compliant, and cost-effective manufacturing outcomes. You will lead a team of Production Supervisors, Engineers, and Operators setting clear objectives, developing talent, and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You will establish and refine departmental standards and practices, manage budgets, and ensure all operations meet environmental, health, and safety requirements set by local and national regulatory agencies. Collaborating closely with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Asset Management, and Facility Management, you will serve as a key operational partner in achieving shared business goals, bringing both strategic perspective and hands on leadership to a role that directly impacts product delivery and customer satisfaction. Who You Are Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering or technical field • 8 or more years of relevant experience in manufacturing or specialty chemical production environments Preferred Qualifications:
• 10 or more years of experience in specialty chemical production systems, including manufacturing, purification, and packaging technologies • Demonstrated experience managing operating expenses within an approved operating plan budget • Proven commitment to environment, health, and safety excellence, with knowledge of EHS systems requirements • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational change management skills, with a track record of developing high performing teams • Experience collaborating with business leaders, customers, and key suppliers across commercial and asset management functions • Solid understanding of chemical unit operations and ISO Quality systems requirements • Experience working in an SAP driven manufacturing environment • Background in leading continuous improvement initiatives; Six Sigma certification is a plus Base Pay Range for this position – $120,300 – $180,400 The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job related factors.
