Job Title: Equipment Operator Location: Bossier City Transfer Station Pay Range: $24-26/hr., depending on experience | Weekly Pay Schedule: Monday–Friday | Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Rotating Saturdays | 50-54 hours per week Job Summary: Waste Connections is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Bossier City Transfer Station. This is a physically demanding position ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating an excavator. In this position, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the transfer station. What You’ll Do:
• Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and mange solid waste at the transfer station • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area • Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptly • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation • Follow all safety procedures and operational protocols • Support team needs and step in wherever needed to keep operations moving What You Need to Bring:
