Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to contribute to the assembly and installation of a sorting system within a facility. The role requires teamwork, precision, and the ability to safely use hand and power tools. Responsibilities • Assemble and install sorting systems with precision. • Collaborate effectively in small teams to ensure safe completion of tasks. • Utilise hand and power tools proficiently. • Operate lifts and work on platforms as required. Essential Skills • 2+ years of experience in general labour within construction or industrial environments. • Mechanical inclination and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. • Capability to lift 50+ lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in assembly, conveyors, or similar mechanical systems. • Comfortable working on construction sites. • Forklift and aerial work platform (boom or scissor lift) experience is an asset. Workers should bring their own tools, including socket sets, wrenches, screwdrivers, and more. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Pitt Meadows, BC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
