Packaging Operator @ Aerotek

Job Title: Packaging OperatorJob DescriptionThis role supports a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility by safely and accurately packaging medical pill products according to customer work orders and strict quality standards. As a Packaging Operator, you work in a clean, temperature-controlled, fast-paced environment, performing a variety of packaging, inspection, documentation, and material-handling tasks while following SOP and GMP requirements.Responsibilities

• Package bottles and other pharmaceutical products into boxes according to customer work orders and production schedules. • Inspect boxes and packaged products for damage, cracks, or other defects and remove any non-conforming items from the line. • Apply labels and tickets to packages accurately and legibly, ensuring all information matches the work order and product requirements. • Complete product sampling off the production line following SOP and GMP guidelines. • Load finished packaged products onto carts or designated storage areas in an organized and safe manner. • Weigh packages as required and record weights accurately in the appropriate systems or documentation. • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation throughout the entire shift, including completing work orders and production records. Essential Skills

• Previous packaging experience in a production or manufacturing environment. • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within GMP-regulated operations. • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and the ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). • General labor and general production experience, including lifting, moving, and handling materials safely. • Basic computer skills to complete documentation and data entry accurately. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. • Prior exposure to SOP and GMP training programs. • Comfort working under observation, including when clients or visitors are present on the production floor. • Interest in learning advanced GMP and SOP practices and taking on more complex responsibilities over time.
