Job Title: Warehouse Worker text 8 4 7 5 8 0 2 8 1 4Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team, working from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This role involves performing essential warehouse duties, including loading and unloading products, palletizing, preparing shipments, printing labels, and ensuring the accuracy of shipping documents. You will also cross-train in manufacturing production areas, focusing on packing, repacking, and filling.Responsibilities
• Perform basic warehouse duties including loading and unloading products. • Palletize products and prepare them for shipment. • Print labels and work with computers for label printing and inventory checking. • Utilize RF scanners for accurate inventory management. • Ensure accuracy of all receiving and shipping documents. • Cross-train between manufacturing production and warehouse operations. • Assist with packing, repacking, and filling in production areas. • Ensure timely shipment, receipt, and transfer of products and raw materials. • Complete all required documentation accurately. Essential Skills
• Experience in material handling and inventory management. • Proficiency in picking, packaging, and shipping processes. • Ability to perform general labor tasks and operate forklifts. • Familiarity with GMP, SAP, ERP, and cycle counts. • Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Lead experience and comfortable training others. • Strong math skills for inventory picking and pulling. • Experience with GMP, especially in cosmetics, is a plus. The facility includes three production floors with large pumps, tanks, and piping systems. The environment can be hot during summer, and floors may be dirty and wet. PPE such as safety glasses, steel toe boots, hearing protection, and hard hats are required. The role involves spending time in both the warehouse and production floor, assisting where needed. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Darien, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
