About this role

Job Title: Line WorkerJob DescriptionThe Line Worker supports machine operators in a team-based production environment focused on converting large rolls of tissue into finished facial tissue products. You will receive comprehensive training to assist in every stage of the converting process and will be developed toward becoming a lead operator. This is an on-your-feet role in a clean, temperature-controlled facility.Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators with daily production tasks throughout the tissue converting process. • Support all stages of the converting process, including setup, operation, and shutdown of equipment as directed. • Perform packaging activities, including handling finished tissue products and preparing them for boxing or travel-size packaging. • Operate and assist with machine operation tasks such as rewinding and picking in a safe and efficient manner after training. • Inspect products visually to ensure quality standards are met and identify any defects or irregularities. • Follow standard operating procedures and production guidelines to maintain consistent output and product quality. • Work collaboratively in a team environment, communicating clearly with machine operators and coworkers to keep the line running smoothly. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including around machines and in packaging zones. • Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 30 pounds consistently throughout the shift. • Stand, bend, twist, squat, and rotate throughout the 8-hour shift to perform line and machine support tasks. • Adhere to all safety practices, including using hearing protection when needed and following equipment safety instructions. • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules on 2nd or 3rd shift. Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of previous manufacturing experience within the last 2 years. • Ability to lift 30 pounds consistently throughout an 8-hour shift (subject to reference verification). • Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, and rotate continuously for the duration of an 8-hour shift. • Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment with basic familiarity in packaging, machine operation, inspection, and paper converting. • Strong attendance and reliability, supported by references who can speak to consistent work habits. • Comfort working in a team environment and following direction from machine operators and leads. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience beyond the minimum requirement. • High school diploma is preferred but not required. • Experience with machine operating tasks such as rewinding, picking, and general machine operation. • Background in packaging or inspection work in a similar production setting. • Interest in developing skills to progress into higher-level operator or lead operator roles. • Ability to adapt to a structured, process-driven environment with standard operating procedures. The environment is temperature-controlled and kept at a comfortable level throughout the shift. There is some production noise, but it is described as bearable, and hearing protection is available for use, though not required. The company specializes in converting large rolls of tissue into facial tissue products that are packaged in boxes or travel-size packs. Line Workers are on their feet for the full 8-hour shift, performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds, standing, bending, twisting, squatting, and rotating. Dress expectations align with a typical manufacturing environment, emphasizing safety and practicality for working around machinery and moving materials. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Kaukauna, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
