Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description The Machine Operator will operate production equipment, grinders, trimming equipment, and conveyor systems. This role involves troubleshooting process issues and performing minor maintenance to ensure efficient production while following quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
• Operate production equipment and perform quality inspections and checks. • Follow established production and quality control procedures. • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on production equipment. • Make equipment adjustments to maintain quality standards. • Assist with preventive maintenance and equipment changeovers. • Process excess material and production scrap. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. • Complete maintenance requests and document equipment repairs. • Prepare and maintain daily production reports, including quality and efficiency metrics. • Perform general production duties, including loading and unloading equipment, documenting quality results, basic housekeeping, and scrap removal. Essential Skills
• Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience. • Experience operating production machinery. • At least 1 year of machine operating experience. • Ability to stand and work for a 12-hour shift, excluding breaks. • Strong attention to quality and ability to follow work instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Manufacturing experience preferred. • Experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, and changeovers is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving production lines and automated equipment. The workplace is team-oriented and focused on safety and efficiency. Steel-toed shoes are required. Additional PPE, including hair nets, beard nets, safety glasses, bump caps, and hearing protection, will be provided and must be worn as required. Employees must remove fake nails, piercings, and jewelry while on duty. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.60 - $25.60/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
