About this role

Job Title: Electronics Assembly TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on assembling, testing, and packaging electronic products according to detailed technical documentation. You will work with small components, follow schematics and assembly drawings, perform routine electrical tests, and use computer systems to record data and support traceability. The position is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and an interest in electronics who want to learn and grow in a modern manufacturing environment.Responsibilities

• Assemble, rework, and reassemble electronic products according to schematics, assembly drawings, bills of material, and other applicable documentation. • Verify the accuracy and completeness of instruction documents, including schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of material before and during assembly. • Check completed work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications and established standards. • Use a computer for data entry, including inputting serial numbers and other product information into the mainframe or other systems. • Package parts into kits for shipping, ensuring all required components are included and properly organized. • Label and package finished products, including manuals, accessories, and related materials, in accordance with packaging requirements. • Perform testing activities such as current checks, burn-in tests, and operation of Automated Test Equipment to verify product functionality. • Verify assemblies and subassemblies against applicable documentation to confirm correct components, orientation, and configuration. • Verify part numbers, revision levels, and quantities received to ensure they match documentation and requirements. • Conduct routine electrical tests and sort failed assemblies from passed assemblies based on test results and criteria. • Record test data and results accurately, maintaining clear and complete documentation of testing activities. • Identify and report work-related problems, including quality issues, documentation discrepancies, or equipment concerns, to a supervisor or lead. • Inform a supervisor or lead of any discrepancies discovered during assembly, testing, or verification processes. • Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle small parts and tools safely and efficiently. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
