Job Title: Assembly TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team in Davenport, Iowa as an Assembly Technician, where you will manufacture precision electromechanical components for demanding aerospace applications. This role involves hands-on manufacturing work with a focus on safety, quality, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail. You will be building small yet critical components that form essential parts of larger aerospace systems. Responsibilities • Assemble electromechanical switch components according to work instructions, drawings, travelers, and quality standards. • Perform repetitive assembly tasks with care, consistency, and attention to detail. • Use basic hand tools, fixtures, gauges, and assembly equipment. • Handle small components carefully and keep parts organized. • Follow the approved process and ask questions when something does not look right. • Inspect own work after being trained and qualified. • Maintain a clean and organized workstation. • Identify issues, share improvement ideas, and help improve the way work gets done. • Support team goals in the order of People, Quality, Throughput, and Cost. Essential Skills • 1-3 years of assembly experience in manufacturing. • Experience with hand and power tools. • Mechanical aptitude and ability to figure things out. • Dependable attendance and professional work habits. • Ability to do repetitive, detail-focused work without losing focus. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Soldering experience or willingness to learn. • Good attitude, patience, and willingness to learn. • Previous assembly, manufacturing, mechanical, farm, shop, automotive, trade school, or hands-on work experience is helpful. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
